When it comes to wildcards in Jujutsu Kaisen, Kinji Hakari is the ultimate bet. A rebellious third-year expelled from Jujutsu High (and later reinstated), Hakari is as flashy as he is formidable. With a cursed technique that’s literally based on gambling, he represents the chaos, confidence, and cleverness that the Jujutsu world tries  and fails  to tame.


Who Is Kinji Hakari?

Hakari is a powerful and unconventional jujutsu sorcerer with a flair for drama and a deep love for pachinko (Japanese slot machines). After clashing with school authorities, he left Jujutsu High and started managing an underground fight club. But when Itadori and Megumi recruit him back into the fold during the Culling Game, his power becomes a total game-changer.

What Makes Hakari Unique

  1. Idle Death Gamble
    Hakari’s cursed technique lets him spin a pachinko machine inside a domain expansion. If he hits the jackpot (which he learns to do frequently), he enters a state of near-immortality for 4 minutes and 11 seconds, complete with automatic healing. This “jackpot loop” makes him almost unkillable in battle  like fighting a slot machine that never runs out of coins.

    Hakari doesn’t follow rules. He doesn’t care for tradition or titles. But under his arrogance lies a sharp combat brain, capable of adapting quickly and using his technique with frightening precision.
